Biographie
Angel Leung est cheffe à projet et curatice spécialisée en art numérique. Elle travaille entre le Royaume-Uni, la France et Hong Kong.
Elle a été curatrice de Ersilia : Un corps des villes carrefours(2022) et Micromégas (2021-2023), et co-curatrice de Foundation: A Web3 Media Art Festival(2022-23), Virtual Bodies Micro Residencyau Peer to Peer: UK/HK (2022), Birds without Legs: Body & Mobility (2022) et Digital Birth: Zooming in on NFT (2021) à l'Art Basel Hong Kong, etc.
Chez Videotage, elle a géré plusieurs programmes, notamment Artificial Landscape (2019) au SOGO Hong Kong, Both Sides Now V-VII (2019-) avec videoclub(UK), Leave Your Body Virtual Residency on Minecraft (2020-courent) et Hallucinatory hereafter(2022) à M+ Mediatheque. Avant de travailler chez Videotage, elle a été assistante programmatrice à la Broadway Cinematheque de Hong Kong et a organisé des festivals de films dont Hong Kong Asian Film Festival (2017) et Agnès Varda Retrospective du French May (2018).
Elle a obtenu son Master en Screen Art à l'Université de Strasbourg en 2016 et Bachelor en Creative Media à la City University of Hong Kong en 2009. Elle est également chercheuse et écrivaine sur le cinéma. Elle a co-édité le livre David Lynch (Kubrick, 2017) tandis que ses articles sont publiés dans médias divers.
